Associate Professor and former director of the Design for Sustainability research group at Aalborg University, Denmark. Researches on how to improve design knowledge and tools to create, support and facilitate the necessary changes to achieve sustainability understood as realizing common goals (SDGs for instance) within planetary boundaries, which requires systemic approaches. Teacher, which means, permanent student, of the BSc and MSc in Sustainable Design at Aalborg University, a unique program founded in 2013 that educates professionals capable of engaging in design for sustainable transition processes. Educated in Mechanical Engineering (BSc), History of Technology (MSc) and Design and Innovation (PhD).
