Nicklas Ravn is a PhD fellow at the IT University of Copenhagen where he is a part of the Transformations in Care (TRACE) project. His main research interest lies in the field of human-computer interaction and interaction design, where he has previously published work on designing interactive systems that engage with grief. He is currently studying practices with surveillance technologies in dementia care homes, where he has conducted etnographic research, analysing how responsibilities, judgements, knowledge, and relations are reconfigured with the introduction of algorithmic machine vision systems.
