Vasiliki Tsaknaki (she/her) is an Associate Professor in the HCI & Design Section at the IT University of Copenhagen. Her research engages material experiences, computational crafts, and speculative and somatic design methods. Through design research, she explores their critical intersections to investigate new possibilities for wellbeing technologies and touch interactions, aiming to contribute to somatic data literacy: approaches to understanding, experiencing, and critically engaging with the bodily and environmental data that increasingly shape our lives. She is co-directing the ETHOS Lab at ITU (https://ethos.itu.dk/), and co-founder of the Nordic Fabulation Network (https://nordicfabulation.net/).
